When designing our District Learning Plan, CASD has prioritized student and staff safety, and utilized the parent and student feedback survey data to improve consistency, enhance teaching, and increase student learning. CASD Online Program
2020-21 LEARNING OPTIONS
Option 1: Traditional K-12
Students attend school in their assigned school buildings 5 days a week with appropriate health and safety protocols.
Option 2: CASD Online Program
Students participate in a fully online educational program from their homes. The program will be managed by CASD certified teachers, and directly correlated to the Board approved CASD curriculum, and what is simultaneously occurring in the traditional classroom.
Option 3: Home Education
Submission of home education documents required and program delivery in compliance with PA School Law and Regulations.
*Hybrid - Implemented by the Superintendent if the school buildings are not permitted/not able to operate at maximum capacity.
Students return to the school buildings 2 days per week and participate in asynchronous online learning 3 days per week.
