CASD is seeking Building Substitutes to join our team. Building Substitutes work up to 191 days per school year. These positions involve 7 hours of paid work time daily, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. A valid PA teaching certification is required.

Catasauqua Middle School: 1 Substitute
Role and Responsibilities:
Building Substitutes report to their assigned school every day throughout the school year. They are responsible for following lesson plans and providing support and assistance with the academic, behavioral, emotional, and/or physical needs of our students within regular or special education classroom environments.
Compensation: $150 per day

Instructional Aide (All Buildings)

III. BUS AND VAN DRIVERS:
We offer training opportunities for individuals interested in obtaining their Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to operate buses. Possible regular run immediately. Must possess a valid PA driver's license.
The current starting pay is $24.00 per hour.

K12 Evening Custodian
The Catasauqua Area School District is seeking a full-time “B Level” Custodial Worker for the PM shift at Catasauqua Middle School.
This is a Full Time, 12 Month position, approx.. 2 pm – 9:30 pm on school days, responsible for cleaning, basic maintenance work, minor grounds keeping and snow removal.
Required: High school diploma, suitable clearances, basic knowledge of tools and maintenance principles, excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a valid driver’s license. Requires physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform demanding tasks.
