The Catasauqua Area School District is proud to partner with Salisbury Behavioral Health to provide School-Based Mental Health services to our students.
School-Based Mental Health Outpatient services help elementary, middle, and high school students with emotional and/or behavioral issues by providing opportunities to meet and work with therapists in the school setting where it is convenient and comfortable. Salisbury Behavioral Health therapists work directly with building Student Assistance Program (SAP) Teams, school counselors, and staff to provide support to our students on a daily basis.
Salisbury Behavioral Health can provide the following services:
- Mental Health Assessments
- Biopsychosocial Assessments
- Substance Abuse Screening
- Trauma Exposure Screening
- Psychiatric Evaluations
- Medication Management
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Parenting Psycho-educational Groups
- Family Therapy
In addition, students may be eligible for the following home, school, and community services:
- Children's Family Based Mental Health Services
- Blended Case Management Services
Referrals for Salisbury Behavioral Health Services can be submitted by contacting your child's school counselor.
