Educational Technology Resources
Every Catasauqua student will have accounts created for them in core instructional tools, such as Clever Portal, Canvas, and Google Workspace for Education. Additionally, teachers may use supplemental resources that students access with a class code or the “Sign in with Google” such as Nearpod, Edpuzzle, Kahoot, etc. Please check this page as applications may be updated or changed throughout the school year. Through a vetting process, the district reviews applications teachers use with students to ensure appropriate terms of use, student data privacy, and security requirements are met.
Providing a safer way to learn is at the foundation of all Google Workspace for Education products and services, and every single one adheres to the highest educational standards of privacy and compliance. We ensure that core learning environments are free of ads, and protected against spam and cyberthreats. Google Workspace is one of the world’s most secure cloud-based productivity suites. Schools own their customer data, retain full rights over their intellectual property, and can set rules for when people in your school community can download data. Google doesn’t assume ownership of any customer data in Google Workspace for Education Core Services, as mentioned in our contracts (under “Intellectual Property”).
