All rules and consequences listed in the CMS Student Handbook will be followed. Consequences for not complying with the rules will result in a warning, loss of privileges, missing “Fun Friday” activities, after school/lunch detention, or a referral to the office.
- We will be creating our own classroom rules together within the first week of school.
- Four Spiral Notebooks
- Homework Folder
- Notebook Paper
- Sticky Notes
*Calculators will be provided in class*
Our Envision textbook is consumable so students will be able to take it home at the end of the day.
Homework is graded as 5 points per assignment. If homework is not turned in at the start of class, the grade will be marked as a 0/5. If the homework is completed and shown to the teacher by the end of the day it will be changed to a 3/5. Homework is its own category in PowerSchool so it is suggested to keep an updated agenda in order to help receive all possible points! The homework for the day will also be posted on the website. However, it is the responsibility of the student to write down all homework/upcoming assignments in his or her agenda. Students who are absent must ask for the work they miss upon returning.
The math grade is divided into 3 different sections including but not limited to:
