Please join the CHS Athletic Department in recognizing the following student-athletes on their recent accomplishments:

 

Congratulations to senior Gavin Fehr and juniors Mikhail Hartranft and Chad Beller on placing in the top six at last weekend's PIAA 2A Southeast Regional Wrestling Championships at Freedom High School and qualifying for this weekend's PIAA State Wrestling Championships in Hershey. Gavin finished fifth and Mikhail and Chad both finished sixth last weekend. Best of luck to Gavin, Mikhail and Chad this weekend in Hershey.

 

Freshman Maliya Walp participated in varsity swimming this winter as an independent swimmer.  Maliya qualified for and participated in last weekend's District XI 2A Swimming Championships at Parkland High School.  Maliya finished 7th in the 100 yard backstroke (only two freshmen qualified in this event) and 12th in the 50 yard freestyle (only four freshmen qualified in this event.)  Great job Maliya!

 

Congratulations to senior Javier Sobrado on being selected as our football scholar athlete for the 2022-23 school year. Javier and the other nominees were honored at the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete banquet that was held on Sunday at the Surestay Hotel by Best Western in Bethlehem.
